Local Multiservice *highly recommended*
Description: Raine. He's from Colorado, but lives in PV with his Mexican wife. He is a super chill person and is available for hire at about 15 USD per hour, which is a bargain! Furthermore, he is open to help with just about anything. I usually use him to help me with phone calls that need to be done in Spanish and with other translation needs. But he has a nice Toyota pickup truck and can help you move, paint, clean, and he is a fabulous chef, so he can cater a party. He's been in the restaurant business all his life, but lost his restaurant in PV due to the lockdowns. He also has recently created a line of specially prepared spices for cooking.

Yamada Sushi
Description: below act 2 is amazing. Jorge is fluent in English and super awake. The guy came up to me 2 years ago and asked me if I had ever heard of David Icke 🤣
I didn't even say anything ideological to him before he asked me. He told me from April 2020 that the whole thing is a scam to depopulate.
He's unjabbed though the staff mostly are. Voluntarily. The sushi is amazing. As is the hibachi. He used to cook in Las Vegas and is a dual citizen.

Calmate Cafe and restaurant
Description: is one of the places I've gone to the longest. They're on Honduras and the owner Manny is a good friend who is unjabbed. I watched him fight (verbally) inspectors several time over the past couple years.

He owns the salad bar a few businesses east.

They do not wear masks themselves (except the chef from time to time).
Navigation Links: Google Maps: - OpenStreetMaps:
Los Abuelos
Description: on the beach is a little run down and there are a lot of sales people around. But they have never asked for masks and in fact are the only place on the beach that NEVER shut down during lockdown and broke the mandates and acuerdos every night.
They have cheap drinks, good chili relleno. Beautiful sunset views.

Oscar's
Description: which you all know. Fancy, great food and cocktails, not much needs to be added.
Navigation Links: Google Maps: - OpenStreetMaps:

Very well known cart among locals. A hidden secret.
Navigation Links: Google Maps: - OpenStreetMaps:

Lit Nutrition bar in 5D!
Description: Next to Liberty karaoke. Extremely local and the locals do NOT like you playing American music. Haha

Education & Learning
(page under construction)
The Anarchist Thoughts and Perspectives
Some members have written their thoughts and comments for each episode of the HBO show called "The Anarchist" The main objective is to learn what to do and not to do for our own community
Henza's thoughs
"This is going to be a collection of the thoughts and learning that Henza toke from watching each episode of the show
Henza is on of the main people in the show"
Episode 1
The anger of the people is clear. Finding symbols of the oppressors destroying them to send a message. Why are they angry? Something was stolen from them, from all of us. I starts pretty small in the name of safety but grows in time & fear is a tool to drive people to give up everything, their identity, our children, our sovereignty.
Some have ventured away from the safety of the herd & moved to lawless lands in search of regaining what was stolen through propaganda & bludge action. Acapulco was chosen for many because it seemed wild & lawless. Where a caged tiger can find themselves in a jungle with adequate infrastructure so a modern life could be achieve if one is willing to work for it.
Hitting the ground there was this excitement meeting 100’s of like minded people who understood the tyranny of the entire system in which humans are indentured. There was this awesome honeymoon period. It was this perfect happy collective of people who gathered to argue about ideals.
After some time the community started smaller more focused groups & interests. Many centered around spirituality, business building, drugs & parties. Some didn’t get along & it seemed fine but the power of a few individuals with in the community began to alienate the poorer class.
The community seem to split over perception & the unwillingness to see the others side of the debate or argument. It turn to cold wars with no communication & in time assumption turn to wild, false accusations. There was no system of arbitration or conflict resolution so everyone was stuck on a side with few neutral parties.
I see the beginnings of this happening here in PV. Most of us have very ridged lines & no real system of reconciliation. Do any of you see the same things? Do you have ideas or solutions you think will help our growing community? Every single person may not feel important but your are. We need your understanding, patience & compassion for community members, interested people & the sleep walking. Every, single, person, matters… We will lose our sovereignty if we turn away what makes people really special, our virtues.
Episode 2
Forking Freedom
Paul, one of my favorite subjects in this docuseries. His warped view of the world & in his mind is completely in survival mode. Beware of the people who offer you everything up front. They are love bombing to make up for their shortfalls later.
Jeff is nuts lol, comparing himself to Jesus. It hurts me to see him struggle internally like he clearly shows in this series.
Freeman’s did a lot for the community in the beginning. It wasn’t just the conference. They helped support many people coming down. Like most people they were suffering under the weight of their own decisions.
Lily, she is growing in ways that inspires. I think when history is written, she will be one of many faces women learn about in the future. She’s is a hero.
Erica, the beautiful wordsmith. One of my motivations moving to Acapulco. I got there & she was everything I expected. I wish we could have connected.
Henza: I was only unemployed for 3 months during my marriage. I’m not exactly sure where the director got I was dependent on my ex. That does’t reflect reality. Looking back at myself, & I am happy to be rid of the old life & some of the restrictive relationships. The feeling of being with like minded people outweighed all the things I wanted to keep. No regrets.
Bitcoin was invented to fight inflation of the currency. Limiting the powers of those who issue debt. Currently the US has indentured 6 to 8 generations who have not consented to these loans. These are our children we are selling for our comforts today. Our labor is energy, bitcoin takes energy through proof of work (PoW). Millions of computers mine/calculate the blockchain through using energy. It is a capped currency at 21 million. What light is to the theory of relativity, bitcoin will be to economics in the future. It is the constant that economics need so the market can my smarter decisions.
We weren’t really aware of the war the freeman’s felt about the fork. It’s strange to watch where the war between came from. They just seemed wildly inconsistent & rarely did we think about them. So we were left confused & didn’t take them seriously.
Forking the conference was best for the community. It helped us generate a little business where we weren’t welcome at anarchapulco. Our side was happy about that. We needed Anarchapulco to be successful for us to succeed & we knew it. I think a lot taken from the interviews of John & Lily were meant to create interest in the story. It wasn’t a focus in my mind.
Value competition, never let it turn to war.

Getting Pesos/Cash Locally
Withdraw from an ATM:
There are many different banks in Puerto Vallatra all of them have different fees and withdrawal limits
Please keep in mind that there are multiple fees that you will have to pay these depend on:
- Bank Fee: The fee that your own bank charges you for foreign withdrawals (Many US and Canadian banks have local divisions down here and the ones that don't usually have a deal with another local bank - So check with your bank at home to figure out how to save on their fees etc. )
- Foreign bank fee: The company/bank that has the ATM, charges a fee as well - Here it can be a idea to "shop around" a bit I have seen this fee be from 45 pesos all the way up to 160 pesos this is usually determent by location where more urban ATM's usually have higher fees
Places like supermarkets and malls come with a higher fee - Ones again many US and Canadian banks might have deals with specific banks so ask your bank back home - Exchange rate: This is by far the most critical part - The ATM will put out a offer for exchanging your foreign currency (USD, CAD etc.) to MXN in order to pay the local (Mexican bank) - Please do make sure that you always decline this offer from local bank/ATM as they ALWAYS give you a horrible exchange rate, If your not mindful of this then you might end up paying up to 8 - 10% over the current market/spot price for your Pesos/MXN
If you decline the offer on the ATM then your own bank will do the exchange and this gives you a much better exchange rate usually in the order of sub 1%
Selling Crypto:
A lot of the freedom community down here hold and use Crypto for different things so it's usually possible to find someone willing to buy some of your Crypto for Pesos/Cash
Try and talk to people at the Sunday Meetups or ask for Pepole to DM you on the Telegram/Session groups ("Put link to group links page when its done")
Another option is pay for some gift cards on Bitrefill using BTC or Lightning
Getting your temporary residency
There are multiple ways to get your temporary residency here in Mexico but currently they have been giving temporary residency to those that "fear Covid" and other reason for not wanting to go home
Note: Please keep in mind that it's always up to the officer at the INM (Immigration offices) to decided what you get and what info you need to provide
This is the story of one group member that got his temporary residency using the fear of getting Covid during travel:
The regularization program to obtain a TR4, four year temporary resident card after the expiration of a 180 day FMM is still going on. It varies by state, INM office, clerk, and applicant. “Rules” are not implemented as consistently in Mexico as one from north of the Rio Grand might expect.
The INM office in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, is issuing TR4 after the expiration of a FMM.
Go to their office before the FMM expires is best. Ask about the program. They will explain it to you and provide required forms. The total cost was MX$14,096 pesos. You will have to make three bank deposits in accounts which they specify. That is included in the information they will go over with you.
It is best if you speak Spanish, though they do speak some English.
Reasons for wanting to stay should include things like “… afraid to travel because of COVID.”
They ask me why I was still in Mexico when the FMM expired. I told them that I had gone into their office before it expired and they explained their regularization program to me, so I followed their directions. They requested that I re-write the form by hand and include the additional explanation.
At the PV office, you can just walk up, get a number, and sign in to talk to them. No online appointment was required. They will give you an appointment to come back with all of your information ready to turn in.
They told me to make all three deposits the day before and bring two copies of the receipts which the bank provides. That was a favorable indicator. After turning in the documents, they ask you to sign documents, take fingerprints and take pictures. Come back in two weeks for the card.
They did not ask for and supporting documentation for address verification or financials.

Enable Telegram Translate Feature
Enable telegram translate on Android (Not working in the Telegram FOSS version):
Click the menu icon to the top left in the Telegram app (The 3 vertical bars icon)
Click settings -> Language -> enable "Show translate button" when you enable it It will default to "don't translate English"
now you should be able to tap messages that are not in English and translate them
For IOS (Iphones and Ipad's) follow this link:
https://tech.hindustantimes.com/how-to/how-to-translate-telegram-messages-in-your-language-71643467395834.html
Much the same was as on Android
From what I could gather from the Internet Telegram uses the buildin translate API in IOS which was introduced in version either IOS 14 or 15
IOS 15 seems to be supported on Iphones down till around IPhone 8 https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iphe3fa5df43/ios

The group agreed to proceed on several items:
- Briar workshop
- Establishment of messaging stations between PV & Bucerias.
3. The group agreed we should designate emergency meet-up locations, preferably away from the beach.
- Gareth's apartment was suggested as a possibility, as well as the Los Mango's library.
4. It was further agreed that other important items to pursue at future meetings are as follows:
- A 'clubhouse' location for meetings, & temporary housing for new arrivals to PV area.
- The desire for a plot of land for growing shared food.
5. Lastly, it was agreed to further pursue ways to develop our collective abilities regarding remote viewing, etc.
Jul 1, 2022
1. Monica agreed to contact the PV library regarding the possibility of regular meeting space.
3. Deb gave us a tour of their garden, describing care & medicinal properties of the plants. Following are some notes from the tour:
- Bananas fruit once, then are cut down; runners grow new plants; the flowers must be cut to ripen the fruit
- Moringa seeds can be used to purify water
- Oregano leaves can be chewed to resolve a cold
4. Rosie announced she had ordered 1K stickers for 5K pesos; one sticker regarding masks, and another regarding the jab:
- 700 MXN to defray the cost of the stickers was donated at the meeting, this is in addition to 1500 MXN previously donated
- The stickers will be ready on July 112th
- She also provided the group with details about the Guadalajara conference coming up (jabs, 5G, lawyers, alternative medicine, 2 days)
5. Contingency plans for illness/injury were discussed:
- It was suggested that we consider sharing our blood types in case of emergency
- It was further suggested that we consider generic Powers of Attorney to ensure that a like-minded individual will be able to advocate for us should we be rendered unable
- Ramon suggested that public hospitals were the best/most affordable option, though a translator would be necessary
- Ramon also suggested that we identify local veterinarians as an alternative to hospitals
6. Patricia agreed to ask a friend who owns an apartment building in 5D about the possibility of placing an antennae for the private network there.
Jul 27, 2022
There were six members present at the meeting and the following topics were covered:
1. First we discussed some of the emotional challenges members are confronting in the process of working to build cohesive communities. Jason conveyed his experiences in working with individuals and groups across Mexico, as well as tactics and tools we can use to help us navigate the hazards individually. The group expressed general agreement that this is an important topic on which we should continue to focus.
- Jason further proposed to work directly with various individuals in the group to develop community-building skills.
- Jason pledged $600 in seed money toward the establishment of a 'Community Den', once a location has been secured.
- Patricia provided an update regarding a possible space in Bucerias that is currently pending.
2. Next we discussed the Briar network under development by Mads. Patricia updated the group on two locations for antennae: one in 5D on top of an apartment building (this is confirmed), and; a second in Bucerias (currently pending).
- Jason offered his expertise to further support the project.
3. We also discussed the issue of vetting members in the group, both at meetings as well as in the chats.
- Jason expressed his willingness to work with the admins on Telegram chat groups, and there was general agreement that the subject deserves further attention going forward.
4. Jason then gave a presentation on 'Community'. He reviewed the progress and experiences of other Freedom groups in Mexico, specifically mentioning the Porcupine Freedom Festival.
- He then raised the subject of self-reliance with regard to emergency situations, and recommended storing 3 days of fresh water, as well as some fresh food, and to have 30-90 days of cash.
- Julie mentioned the Prepper sub-group that meets on Saturdays @ noon. It rotates location, weekly. The group then discussed cultivating the idea of self-selected specialty groups that can then share their expertise with the larger group. It was agreed that we would brainstorm categories at a future meeting (e.g., water, seeds, medicinal foods).
- Jason then went on to discuss the idea of 'humble living' and re-adjusting expectations/budget. He pointed out that not only is projecting wealth a great way to make oneself a target, but it prevents us from remaining present, and living in the moment.
- Finally, Jason offered to introduce the group to a friend in Yalapa, Victoria, who does energy work.
- Julie then asked Jason to share his background with the group, after which he responded to questions.
5. The initial agenda for the next meeting was discussed, and the following items were identified:
- Deciding rules of order (Robert's Rules: defining quorum for voting purposes, etc.)
- Brainstorm specialty groups
- 'Coping With Loss'
- Sticker campaign: Dean proposed a coordinated blitz to cover a neighborhood for maximum effect. The idea of hiring locals was also proposed for those who are not comfortable placing the stickers themselves.
- A process for ensuring the acquisition of key skills among members necessary for community living.
After further general discussion the meeting ended.
Briar Backup Communication Network
Overview:
The idea is too establish a way of communication in case we lose access to the internet or other emergencies
This will be achieved by using an app called Briar - The main idea behind Briar is to make a local Mesh network that can be used in cases with no access to the Internet
Briar uses Bluetooth and local WiFi networks as its way too transport messages to the recipient
It looks for other Briar users using Bluetooth and local WiFi connections - It then spreads your message to all the other Briar users which then can help you transport your message to the recipient
This means that the more Briar users there is in your area the quicker and more reliable the network gets as it uses the users to move messages around
Does that mean anyone in the chain can view my messages?:
No your messages will be encrypted using an asymmetric key-pair (This is the same principle as with Crypto wallets)
When you add a contact to your Briar app you exchange your public keys
When you wanna send a message to B your use his Public key to encrypt the message and now the message can only be decrypted using B's private key meaning that as long as B does not share his Private key then he is the only one that is gonna be able to read the message you send
Ideas for expanding the network:
- Setup workshops to help people get started with Briar
- Setup stationary Briar clients in common places such as common bars restaurants etc.
- Setup point to point antennas between a few places in PV and Bucerias in order to be able to spread ones messages to multiple places in the city rapidly when you go to one of the point
